Hello,

The Part B Girls have done RVNCC (Girls) proud by getting 5th for Route F today!
Although they only computed scores based on the theory test, nevertheless, it shows quite a bit of effort put in preparing for the theory! Great job!

And of course, not forgetting the guys who came in with an AMAZING TIMING :) However, the competition didn't go smoothly today due to the bad weather. But of course, you guys are winners in all our eyes :D It's an amazing timing given that you all managed to find out most (if not, ALL) the checkpoints!

GREAT JOB TO RVNCC BOYS AND GIRLS!

The Part Bs have done all of us proud today! :)

Chinese Garden Trial Run on 15 Oct 2011

Hello both guys and girls orienteering teams, here are the details for the trial run tomorrow.
Meeting Place: Chinese Garden MRT Station
Time: 8am sharp - Latest 11am
Attire: Full No. 4 Uniform in tip-top condition

Do remember to bring along the empty NCC bottles and belts we had pass to all of you earlier on, and make sure all of you drink sufficient amount of water and sleep early tonight to conserve energy for the run. It's important to have breakfast in the morning and try (BEST) not to take a heavy meal.

PS. Remember to bring along a water bottle of your own as well to hydrate yourself.. you don't want to drink from the NCC bottles right.

Uniform Checklist

Alright, exams are over and CCA will resume next week.
For the Boys Company, as I have told you guys earlier, there will be another round of U-check after the end-of-year examinations. Do make yourself prepared for the U-check. Those who failed the previous U-check, refer to the checklist below to improve on your uniform:

1. Make sure your beret is properly seasoned, no more chef hat or shower cap.
If you are not sure how to season, check with your PC.
2. Maintain neat and tidy haircut.
3. Iron your uniform, especially collar and epaulette. Starch collar if possible.
4. Check and make sure all your pockets are emptied and buttoned.
5. Burn off loose threads, check thoroughly.
6. Check that you have at least 1 pair of gutters.
7. Darken, if possible, polish your boots.
8. Practise tying chain knot at home during your free time.
9. Make sure your sleeves are tight and is at least 3 fingers above elbow.
10. Stand straight, stomach in chest out and look proud.
